It's Time to Apply for the 2009 Congressional Accompaniment Project (CAP) Tour

From August 8th to August 18st 2009, you can be a part of a group of peacemakers who will leave for an 10 day trip to Israel-Palestine, accompanying several U.S. Congressional Senior Staff Aides on a mission of peacemaking and fact-finding.

It is an unparalleled chance to accomplish two important goals: 1. expand and deepen your own knowledge of the Holy Land and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict through direct experience, and 2. influence the political climate of Washington toward  fair & balanced policies that will help enable a just peace in the region for both the state of Israel and the people of Palestine.

An additional advantage is the unforgettable experience of traveling through the  “Holy Land:”  Jerusalem, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Via Dolorosa,  the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, the Contemporary Way of the Cross, the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall and much more.

The cost of the CAP ground tour is $1,595. This includes hotel, 2 meals per day, tour guide, entrance fees, transportation, transfers and gratuities. It does not include airfare, lunch, souvenirs, personal expenses or travel insurance. Prices are based on double-occupancy. Supplement for a single room is $325. These prices are based on a minimum of 12 travelers, and subject to changes due to circumstances beyond our control. All travelers must have a passport that is valid six months beyond date of re-entry to U.S.
